Celebrating Statia's Youth - 3rd Annual Remarkable Teens Awards
On 31 May 2025, the Island Council proudly attended the 3rd Annual Remarkable Teens Award Ceremony, a heartfelt and inspiring evening dedicated to recognising the exceptional contributions, talents, and resilience of Statia’s youth. The Island Council had the honour of presenting five awards to some of our island’s most inspiring young people – each a testament to determination, leadership, and community spirit.

The ceremony, founded by Mr. Ishn Courtar, continues to grow in impact and significance each year. Through his vision, the Remarkable Teens platform has become a beacon of encouragement for our youth and a celebration of their achievements across diverse fields.
The evening was well-coordinated, emotionally moving, and a true reflection of what is possible when we invest in the potential of our next generation.
We extend our deepest appreciation to Mr. Courtar, the organising team, families, educators, and – most importantly – the young awardees who remind us that the future of Statia is indeed bright.
