Court of Audit – St. Eustatius

The Court of Audit consists of external members appointed by the Island Council for a term of six years. It operates independently and has its own support structure to facilitate its work.

The Court of Audit plays a key role in strengthening the Island Council’s oversight. It is authorized to conduct annual research, focusing on financial oversight and governance. These audits are conducted within OLE, and the Court of Audit also has the right to request information.

The functions and powers of the Court of Audit are established in Articles 95-98 of the Wol-BES. Additionally, the Court of Audit operates under its own ordinance.
